7/1/98 I was casually INTERNET crusing when, I found this website, and wanted to provide a "general" input. When I was in th US Navy, stationed onboard the USS MIDWAY (CV-41), homeported in Yokosuka, and since I previously learned a little Japanese in college, and eventually got to use it in Japan, I began to meet many Japanese on a personal level, including some of its underworld, including some people who alluded to being in or connected to the Yakuza. I became facinated by these guys, and occasionally would follow any news about them. The Michael Douglas '89 -film- "Black Rain" was anxiously awited by me and other "Nippon-iphiles", and later I acquired a -video- of the '75 film with Robert Mitchum "The Yakuza" (by the way both co-starring Ken Takakura). The -book- on the Yakuza is hard to find now and is said to be out of print. But I will "try" follow this one story as best as I can, now that I found your site. I hope my input was NOT too much for your readers, and would love to share further insights they wish to add. CIAO

I THINK THAT THIS STORY WAS GREAT. I WAS WONDERING WHY THINGS WERE NOT FULLY EXPLAINED. I WILL COME BACK INTO THIS SITE TOMORROW FOR AN ANSWER. IF HOWEVER, I SHOULD RETURN AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE THAN I SHALL BECOME VERY ANGRY AND I MAY DO SOMETHING YOU WOULD REGRET LIKE SEND A VIRUS INTO YOUR LITTLE SICK TWISTED STORY THAT I BELIEVE YOU WROTE IN CONCERN TO MY FATHER WHO WAS POTRAYED AS BRIAN BOYLE. I THINK YOU WERE REFERING TO CONNOR McGILLICUDDY AND YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE BEING SNEAKY, BUT I CAUGHT YOU. AND LET ME PROMISE YOU ONE THING, YOU WILL PAY. I WILL DESTROY YOU AND YOUR STORY..........

this story was pretty kewl. but i noticed one typo , the word "he" was used twice in a row, somewhere in the second half of the story if i remember right. the reason i read the story is cuz i'm doing a presentation about yakuza and i was hoping to find some visual aid. if u have a picture of a yakuza member (if they wear certain clothes), then plz post it on ur site. thanx, cya
